Hansen’s Shoes Membership Terms & Conditions

These Membership Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your enrollment in and use of the Hansen’s Shoes Membership program (“Membership,” “Program”) offered by Hansen’s Shoes, Inc. (“Hansen’s,” “we,” “us,” “our”). By enrolling in or using the Membership, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you should not enroll in or use the Membership.

1. Eligibility & Enrollment

1.1. To join the Membership, you must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) and provide a valid email address and any other required information.

1.2. Membership is restricted to one per customer. Use of multiple memberships (e.g. multiple email addresses by the same person) may result in revocation of benefits and termination of Membership.

1.3. By enrolling, you authorize Hansen’s to process your membership fee (if applicable) according to the payment method you provide (e.g. credit card, PayPal).

2. Membership Plans & Fees

2.1. The Membership may involve payment of a fee (for example, VIP Membership at $45). The fee is non-refundable, except as otherwise required by applicable law or at Hansen’s discretion.

2.2. Hansen’s may revise the Membership fee at any time. Any change will apply only to renewals or future enrollments, and Hansen’s will provide reasonable notice of such changes.

3. Membership Benefits

As part of the Membership, and subject to these Terms, you may receive certain benefits, including but not limited to:

  Complimentary standard shipping on all orders (no minimums or discount codes needed)

  Recurring annual $20 store credit
  
• 
  Exclusive deals and monthly newsletter offers
  
• 
  A free birthday gift during your birthday month

  Additional savings (e.g. VIP members receive 20% off sale items)
  
• 
  For VIP members: free express shipping for the membership year
  

(collectively, “Benefits”)

3.1. Usage Limits

a. Free shipping applies to up to 5 pairs of shoes per order. If you wish to purchase more than 5 pairs in a single order, you must contact customer support.

b. Other benefits may have restrictions (e.g. blackout dates, product exclusions). Hansen’s reserves the right to modify or limit benefits.

3.2. Credit & Gift Awards

a. Store credits and gifts are non-transferrable and have no cash value (except where required by law).

b. Credits and gifts must be redeemed in accordance with any validity periods specified by Hansen’s. Any unused credits may expire.

c. In the case of returns or refunds of items purchased using membership credits, Hansen’s may deduct the value of the credit or adjust the refund accordingly.

4. Term & Renewal

4.1. The Membership term is one (1) year, unless otherwise stated.

4.2. Unless you cancel before the renewal date, your Membership will automatically renew for another year at the then-current fee.

4.3. You may cancel your Membership at any time by contacting Hansen’s customer support or via any online cancellation mechanism provided by Hansen’s. Cancellation will prevent further renewals but will not retroactively refund fees already paid.

5. Cancellation, Termination & Suspension

5.1. You may cancel your Membership at any time, but cancellation will not entitle you to a pro rata refund of fees.

5.2. Hansen’s reserves the right to suspend or terminate your Membership (and corresponding benefits) at any time, with or without notice, including in case of suspected abuse, fraud, violation of these Terms, or misuse of the Program.

5.3. Upon termination or suspension:

a. You will immediately lose access to Membership benefits.

b. Any unused credits, gifts, or benefits may be forfeited.

c. Termination does not relieve you of obligations incurred before termination.

6. Changes to Program & Terms

6.1. Hansen’s may at any time modify, suspend, or discontinue the Membership or any benefits (in whole or in part) and also modify these Terms.

6.2. Hansen’s will post revised Terms and indicate the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of Membership after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

6.3. If any Term is found invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, it will be severed, and the remaining Terms will continue in full force.

7. User Requirements & Conduct

7.1. You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when registering and keep that information up to date.

7.2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and are responsible for all activity under your account.

7.3. You may not misuse the Membership, benefits, or exploit program loopholes (e.g. stacking multiple accounts).

7.4. Hansen’s may temporarily disable your account or block access if suspicious or abusive activity is detected.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and other intellectual property associated with the Membership, Hansen’s brand, and promotional materials are owned by Hansen’s or its licensors. You may not use such materials without Hansen’s prior written permission.

9. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability

9.1. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Membership and Benefits are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind. Hansen’s disclaims all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9.2. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, Hansen’s and its officers, employees, agents, or licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages (including lost profits, lost data, or loss of opportunity) arising out of or relating to the Membership, even if Hansen’s has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall Hansen’s total liability to you exceed the fees paid by you for the Membership in the 12 months preceding the claim (if any).

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

10.1. These Terms and your Membership participation shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of [State] (or jurisdiction where Hansen’s is incorporated), without regard to conflict of laws principles.

10.2. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Membership shall be resolved via [arbitration / small claims court / or court jurisdiction clause] (choose appropriate method).

10.3. You agree to submit to the exclusive or non-exclusive courts located in [County, State], for disputes not subject to mandatory arbitration (if applicable).

11. Notices

11.1. Hansen’s may send you notices via email, posting on its website, or through your account interface. Such notices are considered given when transmitted.

11.2. You should send notices or requests (e.g. for cancellation) to Hansen’s customer support or address as stipulated on the Hansen’s website.

12. Miscellaneous

12.1. These Terms (together with Hansen’s general Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Return Policy, and any other applicable policies) constitute the entire agreement between you and Hansen’s concerning the Membership, superseding all prior or contemporaneous communications.

12.2. No waiver of any right or provision hereunder shall be effective unless in writing and signed by Hansen’s.

12.3. You may not assign or transfer your Membership or your rights under these Terms without Hansen’s prior written consent; Hansen’s may assign its rights freely.

12.4. Headings are for convenience only and have no legal effect.
